Whether you’re buying your first home, handling legal paperwork, or just need something “official,” the notarization process can feel intimidating—especially if it’s your first time.
But don’t worry—Autagraph LLC is here to make it simple.
First, What Does a Notary Do?
A notary public serves as an impartial witness to help prevent fraud. Our job is to:
Verify your identity
Confirm you're signing the document willingly and knowingly
Stamp the document to make it legally valid
Think of us as the official gatekeepers between your signature and its legal standing.
Before Your Appintment (or Log On)
To save time and avoid hiccups, here’s what to have ready before your appointment:
1. A Valid Photo ID
Make sure it’s government-issued and not expired. Acceptable IDs include:
Driver’s license
State ID
Passport
Military ID
❌ We can’t accept school IDs or photocopies—originals only.
2. Your Document—But Don’t Sign It Yet!
We need to witness your signature live. If you sign it beforehand, we may have to start over. Print Extra copies if you have to!
3. All Signers Present
If multiple people need to sign, everyone must be there (or join the remote session).
4. Payment (If Not Paid in Advance)
We accept multiple forms of payment depending on the service—credit card, Zelle, Cash App, or through our secure booking system.
Remote or In-Person?
Autagraph offers both:
Mobile Notary: We come to your home, office, or preferred location.
Remote Notary: Done online from anywhere with ID verification and video.
Need an apostille for international use? We handle that too—standard and expedited.
How Long Will It Take?
Most appointments last 15–30 minutes, but complex documents like real estate closings may take longer. We’ll walk you through every step—no guesswork required.
Common First-Timer Mistakes to Avoid
Bringing unsigned or incomplete forms
Forgetting ID or using expired ID
Assuming we can provide legal advice (we legally can’t!)
Arriving late without notice (we honor your time—please do the same!)
